Meet Lynn
Bio
Lynn Dyer is from Eden, North Carolina and is a member of First Presbyterian; where she has served as an elder, moderator of Presbyterian Women, leader of the Worship committee and director of the worship music and technical support teams. She has performed with the Greensboro Playwriter's Forum and has written scripts and performed in community and dinner theaters. Her favorite performances have been the presentation of Biblical characters such as the Prophetess Anna, Sarah, Queen Esther, Mary the Mother of Jesus, the Woman at the Well, Mary of Bethany and many others.
Lynn has presented these and other women characters for churches, retirement homes and schools across North Carolina. She performed with Crosslove Theater in “God's Favorite”, a Neil Simon comedy on the life of Job and presented “The Woman with the Issue of Blood” for one of the Presbyterian Women's Fall Gatherings. During the Christmas Season, Lynn has presented the Christmas Story as told by 4 different characters: A shepherdess, Mary the mother of Jesus, the Prophetess Anna and a Christmas Angel.
Lynn also sings during many of her presentations and has led retreats for women and Bible studies at her home church. With her varied experience Lynn can customize programs to fit your program focus using a combination of her vocal, acting and retreat planning and presentation skills.
